Resilience Symposium Announced
Banner Behavioral Health offers a new monthly symposium series dedicated to resilience.
Sponsored by the Resilience Solutions Group, Banner Behavioral Health will now offer a symposium series dedicated to the theme: Resilience and Behavioral Health in Experience, Treatment, and Research. Each month experts will come together to share high tea and discuss experiences, treatment, and research related to resilience in the Valley of the Sun. Continuing education credits will be offered for those in psychology, psychiatry, counseling, and social work.
The first presentation in the symposium series will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010, from 3pm to 5pm, at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital in Scottsdale. The keynote speaker will be RSG member Martha Kent, who will speak on resilience-based treatment approaches to chronic and acute trauma.
