Giovanna is a proud Arizona Native from Tucson, Arizona. She attended San Miguel, a college preparatory and work-study high school, and worked in Human Resources at Jim Click Automotive as part of her work-study program. She soon joined the President Barack Obama Scholars program at Arizona State University. Prior to receiving her Bachelors of Science from ASU, she was an active Committee Member and Executive Officer of the Hispanic Business Student Association at ASU. During her undergraduate studies she interned at the Tucson Hispanic Chamber while working on campus as a Biology Instructional Aide, and gained retail experience at GAP. Inc in Scottsdale. Shortly after, Giovanna became an Events and Communications intern with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. After receiving her Bachelors she relocated to Dallas, Texas to complete a management program specializing in marketing and sales. She then joined the Dallas Fort Worth Prospanica chapter as Co-chair of Events before being appointed Vice President of Education. She continued managing events in Los Angeles, California working for a successful women owned floral and event business. She is passionate about community service wherever she is located.
