Leadership and Resilience in the time of COVID-19

Hosted by ASU Knowledge Exchange for Resilience, and co-hosted by the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts, The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and ASU ADVANCE.

Description

"The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic," a quote from Peter Drucker.

As the responses to COVID-19 cause significant disruptions, leaders from across sectors have had to adapt quickly. Leaders who work towards resilience can leverage such shocks as positive catalysts for transformation. Resilient leaders not only boost their respective organizations' capacity to adapt but strengthen broader community resilience throughout Arizona.

How can you become a more resilient leader? How can your organization move towards responses that are going to strengthen community resilience? What are some ideas that you can start using now? Whether you are the leader of a nonprofit organization, the owner of a small business, or the principal of an academic institution, resilience thinking can inspire you.

Join us for Leadership and Resilience in the time of COVID-19. You will hear the latest research on adaptive leadership and gain the perspectives of key community leaders working in Maricopa County. The webinar design will help you gain new knowledge about leadership and resilience, and learn how leaders are adapting to become more resilient and support community transformation.
