Oscar Lopez, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Knowledge Exchange for Resilience at Arizona State University. Oscar's research involves the development and use of mapping tools and techniques to support decision making for sustainable infrastructure planning. Oscar earned his PhD and MA in Geography at Arizona State University's School of Geographical Sciences & Urban Planning, and his BA in Earth & Planetary Sciences at Northwestern University. Oscar hails from Chicago, Illinois, where he worked with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant & Refugee Rights and the Kosciuszko Park Advisory Council.
