Dataset Name
Valley Metro Transit Centers
Dataset Description

Valley Metro Transit Centers are transfer locations serving multiple bus routes. They are located in strategic areas to provide access for multiple routes that come together, allowing passengers to travel along differing paths while still allowing them to take transit all the way (or as close to) their origin and destination(s). Transit Centers provide relief from the sun and possibly provide specialized amenities (as identified in the data) such as restrooms, bike storage, benches, food, and/or ticketing for transit services. An area for parking during transit trips is provided as well. Valley Metro creates and maintains all of the regional Transit Centers, and often uses them to change riders between shifts.
